The donors attending the Gala Fundraising Dinner for Mission Services of London in November are in for a treat. Canada’s sweetheart,

Elizabeth Manley, will be the guest speaker there to support the Mission’s Community Mental Health Programs (CMHP). An Olympic and World Silver Medalist Figure Skater, Elizabeth will be sharing stories of some her own struggles with mental health issues that almost destroyed her career. Her purpose will be to impress upon the audience that their help is important and can change, even save, the lives of people that the Mission works with.

Our 2017 Fall Banquet & Silent Auction highlight is Community Mental Health Programs (CMHP), a branch of Mission Services of London. This branch offers support services to those who are experiencing or are at risk of homelessness, and who also have a mental illness or addiction. Services include advocacy, crisis services, last resort beds, access to laundry facilities and showers, safe day space and more. Proceeds of the event will support important client needs at CMHP.
